Now for the first time in modern memory, we watch as schools in the US close for longer periods of time as a result of a spreading virus.
 
The world of sports are taking precautions too.
The NBA season is suspended, the NCAA tournament has been postponed or cancelled.
 
Travel to mainland Europe was banned for 30 days.
 
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau has adviced to plan for the potential negative impact the situation may cause to your financial situation, duo to the temporary closure of businesses, schools and other public facilities or events, and in some cases, quarantines. The mentioned actions are absolutely necessary steps to help reduce exposures, but it may bring financial uncertainty for people who could experience a loss of income due to illness or workplace closures.
